(Unless the job requires a clean driving record, like an over the road (OTR) driver or other Department of Transportationlicensed professional driver.) Education Interview Question You Can Ask: Inquire about education and/or certificates for positions requiring them. Financial status Interview Question You Can Ask: Employer can request necessary financial information for benefits, stock options, and 401(k) after applicant is hired and at applicants discretion. Interview Question You Cannot Ask: Employer may not inquire about financial status, wage attachments, outstanding loans or obligations, or bankruptcy status.
